4'4" and muscular, Nara is a devoted blacksmith by trade and can typically be found wearing a heavy apron and a belt full of dwarf-sized tools. Despite her often messy appearance, she has clearly taken care to style her coal-colored hair into two thick braids decorated with golden rings. Her skin is dark gray and freckled across the cheeks, but her eyes are a brilliant amber color. Golden ink is embedded throughout the left side of her body and face in the shape of lightning, and a black tattoo on her shoulder shows the image of an anvil with three stars hovering above.

Nara is fundamentally good. She's extremely bubbly and eager to learn at all times, and she's very disciplined about her work as a blacksmith. Her Dwarven heritage, of course, often makes her overly defensive of her own kinsman and friends, and embedded in her a sense of greed that forces her to continuously seek out knowledge and mastery of crafts. In fact, her strict devotion to blacksmithing and other crafts is partially out of a wild dream to be the very best craftsperson in the realm. This drive can, at times, be blinding. Despite her outspokenness, Nara is highly observant, her innate curiosity driving her to analyze people in great detail.

Nara was born nearly a century after the Eight Year Peril occurred in a faraway community of Dwarves who lived below the surface. Having lost her mother, followed by her twin brother, early in life, she became very attached to her uncle and older cousin, who taught Nara how to forge metal at a very young age. After becoming a smithing apprentice at ten, she quickly became obsessed with perfecting her metalwork so that she could bring honor to herself and her family. While she's a surprisingly bubbly Dwarf, she's also known to disappear for periods of time while she works on her feats of smithing and stonemasonry.
Unfortunately, the Cataclysm had long left Nara's community in an unstable state. Survival became difficult, and Nara was forced to leave the caves with only her favorite hammer and her loyal turtle, Terry - who, somehow, had managed to survive underground - and seek passage to Manaan Port. Due to her family's emphasis on the blacksmithing tradition, her work is almost her religion; she strives to immediately find somewhere to work when she lands.
Now, having set up a shop and smithy in the Port, the young smith seeks to continue to master her craft, sell her wares, and acquire new skills - especially Alchemy, and the Arcane arts such as Spellcraft, which were entirely foreign to her until quite recently.
