Descended from the original nomadic Eldrini tribes, the founder and original patriarch of House Amariรซ was known as Amaren, a warrior and zealot. Amaren was a Crane Druid who worshiped the Old Gods and protected those who followed them. Throughout the decades, House Amariรซ maintained its prominence in many ways, their devotion to their faith being their main focus, leading the house to attain its noble and regal stature amongst the Eldrini. Through the era of Great Despair, the Crane Druid Amaren was lost to age and disease, though his children lived on to continue his legacy and devotion to the faith through The Rebirth, ushering in the House of Amariรซ to its astounding presence to this day.. |

Steeped in strict upbringing and a traditional household, it is upon the tenth name day that children of the house begin their journey into their faith, selecting an Ascended to guide them on their journey through life. All children of the house will identify by its name in formal settings, though from day to day situations, children and descendants will refer to their surname as their parents name, boys taking on their fatherโs name and girls taking on the mothers. At the age of twenty the members of the house are expected to have reached a basic level of religious class, most expectantly Lightbearers or Pathfinders, and made prominent efforts to partake in worshiping their ascended. As strict servants of the sun, all Amariรซ members are expected to follow a path of faith and focus their efforts on climbing the ranks of their faith, the ultimate goal being Sunwarden for most Amariรซ youth. The competition between siblings is harsh and is not for the weak. Members who can not withstand such competition are often cast out. |  |

Raised in such a strict and structured environment, Amariรซ members take on the personality traits of extreme loyalty and devotion to faith and their family. A competitive nature is often found brewing within their hearts and can often lead to them struggling to find companionship and close friendship bonds outside of their family. Unlike many citizens of Cailunmire, the Amariรซ tend to inherit lighter physical features, their hair leaning away from the reds and dark browns to lighter tones, some even born with golden locks of hair. Still, their skin remains sun-kissed and freckles often speckle their skin. Green eyes are typically found within the Amariรซ household yet sometimes blues or hazel coloring will show up from time to time. The Amariรซ will often say that their lighter features are a gift from Liora The Moon Caster, for their centuries of devotion to ascended and the Old Gods. |
