Massive update today with a huge array of new features, modifications, and so on. Some of these additions will be undergoing heavy development soon enough to add more to them (they will still be usable, but expect some major updates to them along the way). We're really looking forward to what this month will hold for development, as we have a lot currently in the works. Hope you guys enjoy!

Gameplay
  • Huge fishing update. The long awaited multi-biome fishing update is /finally/ live. After what has felt like weeks (months) of working on this, all biomes now feature a wide array of different fish, loot, and different chances at loot. There are unique risks for each biome, and all new treasures that vary depending on your rarity that you fish up. All custom fish items are now edible too (and will be able to be used in recipes soon!). Prices also vary depending on the biome you fish from. So some biomes will be better for certain loot, some better for gold, or some just more convenient than others. Some changes to enchanting and baits have also been made, but these will be getting a lot of TLC soon. Hopefully you guys enjoy this, and please continue to give us feedback so we can tweak different rates and prices to make sure it's solid and fun.
  • New smithing minigames. Following on from the cooking update, we now have a similar system for smithing. You can now use a crucible to melt down ore, mold ingots, shape them into various tools, and yield unique items. As it's just in its default state, don't expect anything grand from it yet. We have some major updates planned for it coming soon which will allow you to craft a wide array of different custom models (i.e.: greatswords, rapiers, etc.) with different item values, custom lore, and so on. Of course, you will still be able to rename and lore your crafted items too. We hope you guys enjoy this, and expect some awesome stuff to come related to smithing. Thank you to Sethrain for this one.
  • New model packs have been added. Restaurant furniture and new 3D, placeable food items have been added, which will be accessible soon enough for either purchase or crafting. New dungeon models have also been added, which include traps and various interactable furniture items; these will be used mainly for events (some may be purchasable). Thank you to Chai for making this one happen.
  • New tokenshop items! Two new emojis have been added to the tokenshop, being :brugged: and :allofchina: (these were player-requested as apart of competition rewards). A new pet has also been added, the Hearthweb Spinner, following last month's pet voting winner. Hope you guys enjoy these. We will be adding more to the tokenshop within the coming month, including a planned tokenshop cycle (where it will change every so often!), so make sure you purchase your token items as soon as you can before they get moved around.

  • Fixed some persistence issues with some custom model textures in certain situations (i.e.: resetting on restarts). This was identified to be a MultiVerse incompatibility, but has been remedied (mostly). Now, all custom models should return to their saved textures on each restart. Although when logging out from a restart and logging back in afterwards while in the same chunk as a rendered custom model (with persistence), it will still glitch the texture out temporarily. To fix this, you can just break and replace the model or reload the chunk (leave the area and return). Although not ideal, it is much better than it was before. We will continue to try and work on this issue and make it fully compatible. Thanks to Sethrain, our newest plugin tech, for discovering and helping to integrate the solution.

Website
  • New NPC Faction added to the Wiki: Imperialis. Once one of the most prominent and largest faction to rule the Old Continent, now rebuilding after after catastrophic power struggles rampantly tore apart their people. Striding toward a new frontier of prizing religion, spirituality, and strength, this faction that resides nearby Manaan Port will make way for many new event lines.
  • New NPC Faction added to the Wiki: Circle of the Sacred Song. The prime Druidic Circle of Athon. Mysterious, foreboding, and highly spiritual, this group seeks to strike at the heart of Mórruadh and strengthen the druidic faith. It will be interesting to see how characters interact with this faction. Will they believe in their ideologies?
  • New NPC Faction added to the Wiki: Tribes of Grol. The latest addition, and the newest intelligent species to roam Athon, the Tribes of Grol make up groups of fanatical and subservient Gnolls. Though their cult is but the mere tip of the iceberg of the secrets that they hide.

  • Forums makeover. As many of you may have noticed, the forums got some new improvements. There is now a background that will appear across the forums as opposed to the monotone purple before. The home of the forums now also features a banner area that will prompt different major news at each refresh. Then, each category also got some awesome in-game screenshots for their banner imagery, courtesy of CCARKUSS.

Building
  • The Azure Order build is rapidly growing. All exteriors have been completed, and some interiors are also fully finished and furnished (courtesy of Chai). The interiors of two buildings still need to be started, and some finishing touches on the main building interior.
  • The Imperialis build has been pasted onto the world. Some minor finishing up just needs to be done on some of the interiors.
  • Some more event sites have been built, woo!
  • New roads out of Manaan Port, courtesy of Chai.

Other
  • Fixed some internal checks / values that should reduce rubber banding when moving quickly in vehicles (i.e.: horses or boats). Although this was not actually an issue that was raised, it was noted in some very rare instances and was promptly fixed.

Known Issues
  • There’s a bug currently with rolling multiple dice with the roll command, where 2d20 for example will only show one output. This is due to a variable not being passed correctly to the output and will be fixed soon.
  • The issue with show item still remains where if you show an item, there is a small period of time (a couple minutes) before you can show a different item. Will be fixed soon.
  • Issue still remains with pet renaming for certain pets. This only applies to a couple of them and is due to a name anchor. Will be fixed as soon as possible.
  • Issue with placing signs on a bed block, where a prompt from the bed will prevent you from placing the sign.
