Why do you want to formalize a guild?`
To eventually separate from the Eon Circle yet aid in sharpening the knowledge of magic; a way to give people options whether it be truly harnessing or owning a device, should one wish to learn.
What events or special roleplay do you foresee your guild participating in or hosting?`
I foresee the guild hosting miniature events relating to missions posted on the bounty board, & any overall event found located on the map (separate to the [Server-Wide Events]). We would also, eventually, like to provide arcane teaching Roleplay.
In what way(s) do you feel your guild can contribute to the city of Vaelyn or to the overarching server story?`
The guild can contribute to the city of Vaelyn by authorizing a new selection of magic wielders, finding and collecting data that parted members of the guild make, and clearing out the streets and nearby forests from any incoming threats.
Is your guild in conflict with any particular individual or group?`
No. Though realistically, should RP lean that way, the Eon Circle (as per discussion via SerMordryd)

This culture houses both scholarly pursuits & practical applications of arcane knowledge, allowing members to engage in research while contributing to the community.
Guild Profession(s)` Scholars, Magic Wielders, Arcane Engineers
Guild Goals`
- 1; A wish to lean further in the use of gathering information more frequent to the arcane.
- 2; A wish to teach others what they so wish to.
- 3; An attempt to make gadgets to allow un-arcanic members of society (with a prescribed permit to magic) to have an access to an array of defense-related attacks/healing methods.
Guild History Summary (300 word min.)`
Honorbound Exchange was founded by an elf known as ‘Quil,’ along with a small but passionate group of like-minded individuals who saw an opportunity to make the arcane arts more accessible to all. In the early stages of its creation, the guild’s main focus was to establish a welcoming and safe space where anyone, regardless of their background or prior experience, could come and explore the mysteries of magic. The founding members were united in the belief that magic should not be reserved only for those in positions of power, nor should it be something to be feared. Instead, they envisioned a future where magic was used as a tool for growth, for research, and for the betterment of society as a whole.
The guild’s name, Honorbound Exchange, was chosen to reflect a past usage of the Ssi'tli language in previously strong-standing nation which resided a number of Lizardkin residents. The word 'Honorbound Exchange' breaks down into the name Kor'vek'gha (which the guild sometimes calls itself). Kor means honor, and Vek means exchange/trade. It is meant to symbolize, overall, the guild's commitment to integrity, respect, & the belief that the arcane, when shared with purpose, has the potential to create positive change.
At this early stage, there were no strict requirements for entry or complex tests to pass. The guild aimed to provide a supportive, nurturing space where individuals could develop their abilities at their own pace. The guild's founders also recognized that beyond academic pursuits, there was a pressing need to defend the city from dangerous threats, and so the guild worked to offer both magical knowledge and practical applications in the form of defensive techniques, weapons, and gadgets. For now, the guild’s members are focused on teaching & building a foundation. As the guild continues to grow, it is driven by hope that, in time, it will become a place where knowledge of the arcane is shared freely. Honorbound Exchange is a place where anyone, no matter their history or skill level, can come to learn, explore, and begin their journey with magic, or gadgets alike, whether one is akin to the arcane-touch or not.
EXTRA NOTES`
Overall, this guild is supposed to slowly generate into an arcane guild through time due to the fact that (due to a set date) we will not have hands on magic less specifically named to. If all makes sense, it would be more of a guild that focuses on bounties, weapons, and gadgets till the magic section is added into the pot, till the time suggests. Chanter 8 is the guild hall that me & my fellow guild members are looking at.
