Description


At around seven and a half feet, Gar is a relatively tall Khahar with a hefty build. Broad mostly in the shoulders and tail; and sporting a long toothy snout, he looks crocodilian in silhouette. His scales are a dull, muddy green and taper off to darker hues, contrasting a set of piercing yellow eyes. The sails adorning his maw, arms, and back are a pale yellow and hold a rounded, if tattered, shape. Gar’s style of dress is fairly standard for a fisherman, but has flares of ornate patterns and fabrics amidst the sparse and utilitarian ensemble.

His tone is generally carried in a low rumbling hiss; holding a rural accent with the occasional Ssi'thar emphasis on the s’s.

Combat Techniques

Deflect - Reaction
  • An enhanced defense reaction roll, striking away a given attack as you push forward.
  • Add your STR or AGI modifier to your defense roll.
  • Upon success, move 5 blocks without triggering Attacks of Opportunity.

Feint - Bonus Action
  • Use your bonus action to fake-out an opponent prior to your attack.
  • Forces disadvantage of defense rolls against your attack action for this turn.

Guard - Action
  • As an action, raise your shield for an indefinite period.
  • Grants you an additional +5 AC until lowered or the AC is broken.
  • Cannot attack and MS is halved while using this technique, but can protect someone behind you.
  • 4 round cooldown upon lowering / broken technique AC.

  • Requires 3 CON.

Bash - Action
  • As an action, strike your opponent to force them to the ground.
  • Inflicts Slowness I via an action roll, as the enemy struggles to stand.
  • 3 round cooldown.
