Household Aesthetics

[Passive] -
  • Capable of levitating small objects in a non-CRP environment, applying the outline of the fingerprints or palm in a cold-layer.
  • Cannot cause frostbite. Eyes may glow, frost/after-trails/echo/distorted voice.
  • Can speak in the mind of others, but must have a visual tell, and players can always resist it if they beat a DC of 12.

Pineal Eye

[Passive] - Metaphorical and metaphysical, the symbolism for mystical inauguration is attributed to a lesser known ritual of prioritizing the ectoplasmic aura that all beings have. When a novice mystic becomes inducted, on their forehead is marked an eye in coldplasm. Like spectacles to a short-sighted elder, the pineal eye as it is coined, offers sight into the otherworld, to truly see specters.

Boreal Being

[Passive] - Prioritizing the ectoplasm that surrounds their being, mystics are not only sensitive to sudden changes regarding concentrations or lack thereof, but their very being exudes it. The more powerful aura that now hovers about them, seeps into the clothing they wear, and the things they touch. In part to the concentrated aura that they now wield around them, their grip is also metaphysical. Their mystical incantations are capable of touching what non-mystics could not, the specters of the world. While a Mystic can certainly grab an apparition, whether it is the wisest of choices is up for debate.
  • REDLINE – Does not give frost-bite, nor resistances or weaknesses to natural world elements.

Lesser Perils of Witchspace

[Passive] - When using any ability that induces a peril-mechanic, the user must roll within the ranges of (5-10) or (15-20) from a d20. Anything outside of both ranges will incur consequences:
  • First failure will induce psycho-trauma to the Mystic, the ability fails to fully commence, and the caster suffers (2) psychic damage.
  • Second failure will cause those within (5) blocks to momentarily lose focus on their actions, impart PSYCHOSIS, which causes (-1) to all mundane roll attempts for the remainder of the battle, this stacks up to (2) times.
  • Third failure will cause those within (40) blocks to be pulled towards the ground, interrupting actions, and causing the caster to fall into a state of frenzy.
This frenzy causes all their non-ritual abilities to set to (20) block range, causes the caster to have (30) fixed HP until they explode at and are sent (10) blocks to their choosing, being put out of the fight.
