THE REALMS OF THE SEAS

Wrought by chaos, it is between realms of disorder that banners bound by steel and stone must thrive. It is on this very day that the Ministry of Manaan and the Fiefdom of Lunthorpe, henceforth known as the signatories, have agreed to the signing of the treaty that shall be known as “The Treaty of Iron Tides”. It is by this paper that trade, protection, and the declaration of friendship is sworn.



I - SOVEREIGNTY
The signatories hereby recognise one another’s sovereignty and their right to held lands. They acknowledge one another’s ability to expand their lands and territories. The Ministry of Manaan recognises the leadership of the Fiefdom of Lunthorpe as a political entity, and the Fiefdom of Lunthorpe recognises the leadership of Manaan’s council.



II - NON-AGGRESSION
The signatories hereby pledge to make no acts of aggression upon each other’s lands and not act untoward in any decision pertaining to each entity. Mutual peace shall be retained between the two signatories.



III - TRADE
The domains of the signatories have established land-based trade routes between the two entities. The Ministry of Manaan has agreed;
  • To provide suitable armaments and munitions to the Fiefdom of Lunthorpe.
  • To provide a small armed force established within Lunthorpe as a semi-permanent military.
  • To establish frequent patrols across Lunthorpe’s borders and land.
The Fiefdom of Lunthorpe has agreed, where units may constitute barrels or crates;
  • To provide seven units of grains and seeds each half-year.
  • To provide five units of fruits and spices each half-year.
  • To provide five units of gold each half-year.


IV - DURATION

This treaty between that of the two signatories shall last for a duration of four years, and upon its expiry, it may be revisited to be reinstated or redrafted.



V - CONDITIONS
This treaty is declared void should either signatory act maliciously against either entity or cause avoidable damage regardless of intention. It is also declared void should either party not uphold their agreements or act directly against the purpose of this treaty.
